Privacy notice

Who is responsible

Phil Synnott is the data controller for the waiting list. For a privacy question or request, email info@dualitybook.com.

What is collected

The form collects your email address, your consent choice, and the date and time of signup and confirmation. Brevo records the technical information needed to document that consent. Cloudflare processes ordinary request and security information when it delivers this site and the signup request.

Why it is used

Your email is used to send the free opening chapters, illustrated previews, publication news, and release information for Duality. The lawful basis is your consent. The address is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Confirmation and withdrawal

Brevo sends a double-opt-in confirmation email. You are added to the waiting list only after using that confirmation link. You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting Phil Synnott.

Service providers and transfers

Brevo processes the mailing list and confirmation records. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. These providers may use approved subprocessors or process data internationally under their contractual safeguards and published data-protection terms.

How long it is kept

Your waiting-list record is kept until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion, or the list is closed after it is no longer needed. Limited suppression information may be retained so that an unsubscribe request continues to be honoured.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to withdraw consent. You may also raise a data-protection complaint with Phil Synnott. If the matter is not resolved, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and tracking

This version of the site does not set non-essential cookies and does not include advertising trackers. If that changes, this notice and the site’s consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.
